Job Description
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of a well-established construction company based in Hull.
You will be working as part of a successful and friendly finance team, processing a high volume of invoices from matching through to payment. You will also be responsible for overseeing two members of the team.
Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:
* Processing a high volume of Accounts Payable invoices
* Overseeing two members of staff
* Matching & batching of invoices
* Dealing with all invoice queries
* Deal efficiently with payment and processing of all invoices
* Liaise with suppliers regarding processing of payments and statement reconciliation
* Assisting with Payment runs
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience with accounts payable – preferably two+ years
* IT Literate including Microsoft Office (Excel)
* Excellent interpersonal, time management, planning and organisational skills
* Good eye for detail
