Job Description
Great opportunity for a Principal Pricing Analyst to join the team, in this role you will utilise your technical expertise, in-depth knowledge of insurance industry and market leading tools to produce creative and actionable pricing solutions.
This role requires a large element of coaching team members and championing best practice across the department.

Description
The successful principal pricing analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:
Providing technical leadership to drive forward effective and efficient solutions which deliver business requirements and add demonstrable value
Follow quality assurance processes and manage risk adhering to all relevant policies
Research, develop and champion the use of best practice methods and standards and ensure they are embedded throughout the department
Proactively champion continuous improvement within the team
Recognised pricing knowledgeProfile
The successful principal pricing analyst will be able to demonstrate knowledge in the following:
A degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research or a scientific discipline with strong mathematical/statistical content
Analysis and statistical model building
Significant experience of working in the insurance industry
A track record of using market leading techniques in a creative way to solve business problems
Confidence in presenting technical and marketing information in a variety of mediums
