Job Description
Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Payroll Team Leader to join a market leading business based in the Preston area. The role offers a competitive salary, permanent position and a semi-remote working style which requires the successful candidate to travel to Preston around 2-3 times a month.
You as the Payroll Team Leader will report into the Payroll Operations Manager and be responsible for ensuring weekly and monthly payroll is correctly issued whilst leading a team of payroll administrators.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate across teams to support colleagues with resource and assistance
Liaise with external members of staff to ensure great service is delivered
Undertake key projects
Manage a team of payroll administrators
Help improve processes with the aim of streamlining and standardising how work is performed
Supervise and motivate the team on a day to day basis
Develop a high performing teamThe requirements for the role are;
Supervising/Managing experience is essential
Ability to plan workloads, ensuring deadlines are met
Ability to use Excel and Word to a good standard
Committed to providing excellent customer service
