Job Description
Payroll Manager, highly reputable organisation, permanent, Milton Keynes, up to £45k

Our client, a well-established, highly reputable organisation in the Buckinghamshire area, is seeking a hands on, experienced Payroll Manager to join their management team. The role is responsible for overseeing the processing of monthly payroll whilst producing management information and reports.

* Support the day to day work of the payroll team

* Provide ad-hoc and bespoke reports using appropriate software

* Manage day to day maintenance of employee data including correct processing of payroll

* Payroll system reviews and system/process improvements

* Be the main contact/escalation point for any complex queries or potential risks

For this position we are looking for someone who ideally holds a degree in payroll management or can show sufficient evidence of payroll management experience. Someone who understands payroll routines, best practice and protocols on how to manage any issues effectively. This person will be highly IT literate, a good communicator, an effective problem solver and has a pro-active approach to their work. In this role, there will be an opportunity for the person to make an impact on the future of the business and how the payroll processes are aligned.

This individual will also be self-motivated and focused, with the ability to work towards business deadlines for a wide variety of different clients. Someone who will be able to demonstrate how they can maintain and nurture relationships across the organisation.
