Payroll Assistant

Full time, permanent

Bedford

Our client is looking for a reliant and hardworking Payroll Assistant to join their team in Kempston

Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annum DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. 37.5 hours a week

Duties / responsibilities:

Processing monthly payroll
Calculating statutory maternity pay
Reconciliation and payment preparation
Producing payslips and P45’s
Processing company invoices
Supporting finance and payroll related enquiries
Skills / experience:

Experience in a similar role is essential
Commercial awareness
Effective organisational skills
Teamwork skills
Interpersonal skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Numerical skills
IT skills
