Advantage Resourcing are working closely with a government department who are looking for a Payroll Administrator on an initial remote 3-month contract. Working within the Payroll team you will play a vital role in all matters relating to the payroll process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for collation and analysing of information with regards to salaries, personal details and correctly interpreting the data, calculating, and inputting into ESR system in respect of starters, leavers and re-grading, amendments and redundancy payments
To ensure that an adequate audit trail is maintained for all transactions to demonstrate all changes have been appropriately authorized and processed
Work closely with HR Recruitment Officers to ensure that new starter forms, change forms are input accurately and leavers are processed in a timely manner
Promote and ensure customer confidentiality.
Maintaining accurate information on spread sheets and databasesWhat we are looking for in you:

Previous experience in Assisting in the processing of weekly and monthly payroll including NI, PAYE, SMP and SAP adjustments
Knowledge of how to use Payroll databases and pull reports
A good understanding of how to provide support and deal with payroll queries
Previous experience within a similar role
