Client Details

An established Worthing business are looking to recruit a Part Time Insurance Specialist on a permanent basis.

Description

As Part Time Insurance Specialist you will be responsible for:

Assist in the management of the work of, and provide technical assistance to, the Insurance and Administration Assistants.
Assist in the negotiation, procurement and provision of all insurance policies, including the determination and implementation of policy terms and conditions and the payments of policy premiums to insurers.
Manage the processing and negotiation of the settlement of claims made, taking the lead on specific claims, with the ability to manage those claims to conclusion.
Assist with the on-going maintenance, monitoring and revision of the Risk Management Strategy, and the performance of all insurance related activities, including preparing and maintaining related Risk Management and Insurance Fund budgets.
Report on, and where necessary attend quarterly meetings on, claims for external clients, with an aim to highlight problem areas with a view to putting risk mitigation measures in place, to reduce the riskProfile

Study support of the Chartered Insurance Institute
