Job Description
Venari Finance is delighted to be supporting our multi site client in Glasgow to recruit a Operations Finance Manager.

Our client has a strong track record of progressing careers over a short period of time and are looking for an ambitious finance professional to lead one of their sites.

This would suit a qualified candidate with a strong business partnering skill set.

Role overview:

Ownership of the monthly management accounts, ensuring timely reporting, accuracy of numbers and value add commentary explaining the period performance.
People management of the 1 direct report
Ownership for the P&L to ensure timely, accurate and robust financial forecasting throughout the budget process. This will involve strong stakeholder management to collate information from other teams
Ownership of bridging financial forecasts to previous forecast, understanding any significant differences, and collating the new financial forecast in to a presentation that can be distributed to senior management.
Manage the operational balance sheet, including accruals, prepayments & fixed assets.
Management of the system including bi-annual review, reviewing; efficiencies, waste, cost in preparation of the budget and forecast, material and labour usage.

Candidate Profile:

Qualified Accountant- ICAS, CIMA ACCA
Strong analysis skill set
Ability to work across senior stakeholders
Strong Leadership skills
