I am working with a mortgage business who are expanding their mortgage underwriting team and are looking for experienced underwriters from a specialist property (Residential or Buy to Let) background .

This is what you'll be doing:

Telephone call handling (B2B – brokers and solicitors)
Ensure relevant information has been received about the borrower and the property
Assess decision in principle and full mortgage applications through all stages and make strong recommendations for lending.
Chasing brokers by phone email and mail
Manage the process from DIP to offerThe experience you'll bring to the team:

Mortgage Underwriting experience is essential
Buy to Let mortgage experience is beneficial
Experience of HMO, MUB and LTD Company is essential
CeMap (desirable) or the desire to study
Underwriting mandate held
You will have a friendly, approachable, and understanding nature.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAnd this is what you'll get in return

A salary of £35k-£40k
Fully remote role
Exceptional annual bonus.
