Job Description
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Location: Wolverhampton

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a listed business to assist senior management in making critical decisions by analysing and presenting key financial data. As Management Accountant you will oversee accounting procedures and prepare forecasts, risk analysis and budgets. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate who wants to progress as there is a promotion opportunity in the medium term.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES

* Gather and analyse financial information for internal use

* Support budgeting and funding

* Assist the company in managing its investment portfolio

* Assist with accounting procedures

* Evaluate company performance using key data

* Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision making

* Conduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimise risk

* Advise on problems and suggest improvements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

* CIMA or ACCA qualified with experience in Management Accounting

* Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting financial principles, and practices

* Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting

* Excellent knowledge of risk analysis budgeting and forecasting

* Working knowledge of financial software and MS office

* Analytical mind with aptitude in maths

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Problem solver with attention to detail

* Organisation and leadership skills
