MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

WARRINGTON

£40,000 – £50,000 + BENEFITS

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited is partnered with a market leading logistics firm based in Warrington. My client is looking to hire a strong Management Accountant to join a busy Finance team of 5 and report into the UK&I Finance Director. There is a detailed development plan with this role and the Management Accountant has the chance to develop and move into a Finance Manager capacity in 2023. The Management Accountant will take responsibility for;

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
Payroll for 35 staff and quarterly vat returns
Work closely with the auditor and tax accountant to prepare statutory accounts and coordinate the audit
Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
Responsibility for cash flow and company credit cards
Assisting the UK and Ireland Finance Manager with monthly/year-end Group reportingMANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT KEY EXPERIENCE:

ACCA or CIMA Qualified or studying towards
Minimum 3 years demonstrable experience in a similar level Management Accountant role.
Strong Microsoft Excel experience, with good working knowledge of advanced formulas and Pivot tables
Experience in using ERP systems – MS Dynamics AX, Oracle or SAP advantageousTHE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO £50,000 BASE + BENEFITS
