Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to working on an exclusive basis with a well established yet ever-growing business in Sheffield (City Centre) as they look to recruit an ambitious and motivated Management Accountant for their team.

Reporting straight to the Group Financial Controller and a dotted line to the FD, you will be working as part of an established finance team and will support the FC in terms of producing management accounts, conducting financial analysis and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

This is a varied role with duties to include: –

– Production of monthly management accounts for the main trading company including bank
reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments
– Reporting and walkthrough of the monthly results to Group Financial Controller
– Finance business partnering with the heads of departments across the business and working
closely with the Head of Commercial Finance
– Debtors and other key reports for analysis
– Assisting Management with the production of monthly Board KPI reporting packs
– Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget and forecast updates
– Project accounting
– Assist with the audit at year-end and liaise with the auditors
– Control and review the recurring sales cycle – working closely with the sales ledger team
– Cost control – reconciliation of direct costs and overheads
– Production of VAT Returns for trading company

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

– Qualified or Late Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
– Previous experience in Management Accounts
– Confident, self-starter and ability to work independently
– Good Excel skills
– Great communication skills
– Team player
