Job Description
SF Recruitment are recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant for 6 Month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well established company based in Nottingham.

£35 – 40k

Hybrid working model – 1/2 days at site and the rest from home

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for a business in Nottinghamshire. This role is to cover a period of 6 months so is ideally suited if your contract is coming to an end soon!

I'm keen to talk to you if you are immediately available or ready for your next interim contract. Reporting to the Senior Finance Director you will undertake the role of Management Accountant for the business

– Report weekly and monthly management information to Operations teams
– Review the results with the Operations team
– Assist with the Annual Budget cycle
– Forecasting of areas of responsibility
– Support the Senior Business Partners within your area.
– Support Assistant Management Accountants within your area.
– Accruals and Prepayments calculation, processing and reconciliations.
– Maintain multiple other balance sheet reconciliations.
– Challenge the status quo and look for continuous improvement in agreed processes.
– Assisting the Senior Finance Leadership and wider business with other queries, reporting, ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

You will have previous experience of working as a Management Accountant and ideally you will be at part qualified, qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience. You will be hands on, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport across the business. In addition you will have experience in the following areas:

– Good IT skills, including MS Excel (MS Dynamics would be great, if not similar)
– Ability to review and improve processes
