Job Description
Management Accountant/ Financial Accountant
Location: Manchester or Wallasey
£35,000 – £45,000 Basic Salary (dependent upon experience) + Share Options + Flexible Working + 25 days Holiday + Pension
About Us:
Holiferm is facilitating the transition of the $36 billion surfactant market away from harmful, fossil fuel-based chemicals to biobased alternatives. We produce sophorolipid and other biosurfactants; renewable, biodegradable, and mild alternatives to the petrochemical derived surfactants used in household cleaning, laundry, and personal care products.
Due to our exciting growth plans and current build of a commercial production facility, we are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to assist the Finance Director.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
* Management account production
* Review of Assistant Accountant’s workings
* Grant preparation
* VAT return review
* Year-end account preparation
Role Requirements:
Please note that this role can be hybrid. We have 3 sites based in Daresbury, Wallasey and Manchester and are open to working at any of these however it is important that candidates are able to travel to all locations.
To be considered for this role, candidates need:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 12 months post qualification experience
* Preferably Practice Trained (not essential)
* Experience prepping and reviewing management accounts
* Excellent Excel and IT skills
* Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative
