Job Description
Title: Management Accountant
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + company pension scheme + some hybrid working
Location: Hull
OVERVIEW:
Would you like to join the management accounting team in a group of finance professionals working for a finance shared service centre in Hull? An additional ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Management Accountant is required due to a recent acquisition. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ever growing organisation with a global presence, a professional culture and high integrity.
THE ROLE:
Month end management accounts responsibilities including, preparation of month end journals, monthly reforecast of costs, preparation of monthly board pack slides, posting of overseas trial balances
Business partnering to commercial budget holders, balance sheet reconciliations
Liaising with third party accounting firms in overseas jurisdictions, detailed headcount cost and variance analysis
Involvement in budget setting process, liaising with external auditors
Support with M&A related activities including integration of newly acquired businesses, ad hoc project work as required
THE CANDIDATE:
You are a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant looking for a challenging role in a fast paced environment. An effective communicator at all levels you work collaboratively to achieve the desired results and have a high standard of systems literacy, particularly with Excel
You must have previous experience of management accounting and be confident in internal reporting. Self motivated and resilient you have sound analytical and investigative skills enabling you to find solutions to problems with a clear, logical thought process
Although some hybrid working is on offer, candidates must reside within a commutable area of Hull and East Yorkshire
