Job Description
If you are a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is looking to take a step up and build on experience, this will be the right role for you. Our client are an insurance business looking to bring on an experienced credit controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are offering a hybrid working option, so you only need to go into the office two days per week saving you time and money. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join a friendly and hardworking established Finance team in a Credit Control role.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities as a Credit Controller

Matching clients' premium payments on the ledger
Matching underwriters' payments on the ledger
Running & circulating Aged Debt Report
Talking through your assigned accounts with Underwriters & flagging up any issues in internal credit control meetings
Sending regular statement chasers to insured's/brokers and resolving any queries
Preparing & issuing broker commission statements
Investigating & resolving anomalies with the assistance of other departments as required
Raising and issuing deductibles
Posting journals on Sun
Validating banking details
Being involved in various month end reconciliations

Candidate Profile

IT literate: Essential MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook,)
Preferred but not essential (SUN, Dynamics 365, Sales Logix, Access)
Team player with the ability to learn quickly, take initiative and work independently
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
