Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to carry out an initial 12 month contract. The role can be carried out remotely or on a hybrid basis, once you have carried out the required training/induction onsite. The opportunity is open to QBE, part or fully qualified individuals with relevant work experience. The duties include but limited to the following:

* Management Accounting for manufacturing entity

* Reconciliation of full entity balance sheet

* Lead a clean-up of BS ledgers, primarily GRNI & AP support

* Monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet review and commentary

* General ledger postings

* Provide support for Internal and External Audit

* Divisional reporting requirements (both Internal and External)

* Identify and implement lean activities to streamline and simplify processes

* Review and update internal procedures and best practice guides

* Support deployment of new business processes and systems

* Ad hoc tasks as required

Experience and skills in the following areas are highly desirable

* Management Accounting and tight month-end deadlines

* Accounts Payable knowledge regarding invoice processing, POs and GRNI

* Confident and proactive

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong analytical skills, and ability to understand and interrogate data

* Ability to self-manage and prioritise work, but also to engage with others

* Proven commitment to achieving deadlines

* Experienced in Excel and formulas

* SAP
