Michael Page are delighted to partner with our client and recruit an exceptionally opportunity for a Management Accountant (Qualified). The successful candidate will perform a key role in supporting the wider Finance team. Your role will involve ensuring good record-keeping and accurate, timely reporting, both during the month and at month end.

Our client is a Global Manufacturing Business based in the heart of Glasgow. A business performing well and with high calibre finance function who support the Global operations.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts.
Ability to analytically review of monthly financial results and add interpret the results for the management team. This will involve presenting the results at monthly management meetings.
Preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations, fully investigating and reconciling all accounts.
Assistance with the preparation of annual departmental budgets and mid-term forecasts.
Preparation of monthly profit and loss and cash flow forecasting.
Key finance partner for Global Distribution colleagues in relation to planning, forecasting and value-add.
Involvement in checking and authorisation of payment runs.
Assistance with the annual group audit and statutory audit.
Involvement in the VAT return process.
Support of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring support is provided across these functions as required.
Involvement in other "ad hoc" financial projects.Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

Qualfied Accountant (ACCA/COMA/CA)
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Exp in producing management accounts
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload effectivelyJob Offer
