Job Description
Legal Cashier – (hybrid role) – This highly professional international Law Firm is looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to work as part of the finance department in its London office. The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient and effective cashiering service to fee earners, to ensure the firm complies with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR). Key tasks include:
Full participation in the day-to-day activities of the Cashiers team
Helping to ensure fee earners and other support staff comply with the firm's internal cashiering regulations and SAR
Perform month and year end procedures and reconciliations
Dealing with internal and external queries
Various ad hoc cashiering queries as allocated by Cashier Supervisor.
Liaising with auditors and banks
Supporting other Finance team members in times of need. You will have prior experience as a Legal Cashier, focusing on client accounts within a LAW Firm. Good knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) is essential. Strong communication and IT skills are key as is the ability work well in a dynamic team environment
