Job Description
Our client, a forward-thinking technical business in Hemel Hempstead is recruiting for an experienced Accountant who is fluent in Italian.
The successful candidate will be joining an expanding, global company with offices in the USA and Europe. The ideal candidate will be used to working in a busy business environment where you are expected to work on a broad range of tasks and with different stakeholders.
You will be assisting with the preparation of the Italian monthly management accounts and ensuring the integrity of the Italian sets of books.
What’s in it for you:
* Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, 3 days in the office, 2 at home
* Salary: Up to £47k depending on experience + 10% bonus potential

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and analysis of monthly accounts for Italian company to Trial Balance.
* France balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintenance of Italian fixed asset register.
* Preparation of Italian Monthly VAT & Intrastat Returns
* Provision of supplementary schedules for France as required for quarterly reporting.
* Ensuring Italian finance complies with Sarbanes Oxley.
* Ad hoc Operational & Finance requests from Financial Controller, EFFSC Manager

* Italian Accounting experience to Trial Balance, with a minimum 3 years’ experience at a similar level
