Job Description
I am recruiting for a Local Authority who are urgently seeking an experienced interim consultant with the knowledge and experience to be able to conduct a deep dive financial review of a Primary School in it's Borough with a large deficit.

This is a short term piece of work, interviews will be this week and the client is keen to get someone on board ASAP, so that work on this issue can commence quickly.

They are looking for someone with a Local Authority Education/Schools background ideally, but are open to someone from a wider Education background who understands schools budgets, issues like pay/non pay, and can conduct a forensic financial review in order to identify how the deficit has coccurred.

This role could then involve being asked to be an ongoing and integral part of the school's financial recovery plan, supporting them to achieve the turnaround targets set by the Local Authority.
