Interim Purchase Ledger Clerk – Hull – Up to £25,000

We are very excited to be supporting our PE backed client based in Hull with their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on an initial 3 month temp to perm basis. The position has been brought to support the collective finance team to help further the companies success. This is a highly reputable, market leader who is seeing unprecedented demand and hence has made major investment to increase market share.

Early finishes on a FridayInterim Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:

Processing and reconciling supplier invoices to month end close schedule
Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to resolve invoice and payment blocks and other queries
Validate and export batches from Purchase Orders from interface through to the finance system
Prepare payments to suppliers that meet conditions and agreed payment terms
Code overhead Invoices and assisting with the monthly intrastat report
Assist with monthly accruals and prepayments and GRNI and report to month end close schedule
Assist in the validation and export batches from
Identify areas for system and process improvementRequired Skills & Experience:

Experience with high volume purchase ledger invoices
AAT qualified or studying the later stages
Proficient in Excel including pivots and lookups
