Job Description
Infrastructure Engineer
6 month contract
Flexible rate pd inside IR35
One day a week onsite
An experienced Technical Consultant to work with Infrastructure Delivery Manager and technical SME's in delivering in new IT environments for key transformation projects within Asset and Invoice Finances of financial Banking client
Will have at least 10 years in-depth experience within an IT environment. This should be supported by a wide range of technical skills in Server Infrastructure, with the ability to engage at all levels and across all technical boundaries.
Skills Required
With enterprise-scale experience you'll demonstrate attention to detail and an appreciation of good security, mitigating risks and safe delivery.
You'll be able to build relationships and get on with a wide variety of people and possess good communication skills and a determination and resourcefulness in pursuing answers.
You'll possess strong working knowledge of Windows Server from 2008 to 2012 R2 and familiarity with Active Directory
And you'll be familiar working with VMware virtual machines.
Experience using Service Now for incident and change management would be highly advantageous.
Any working knowledge of VMware, NetApp, Commvault, SQL Server alongside Systems Management software such as Microsoft System Centre could also be helpful.
