Senior Impairment Analyst Various location/Hybrid/Remote Competitive Salary – J12340

Would you like to work for one of the largest UK banks? This is an excellent chance to join their Impairment team. You'd support aspect across Impairment reporting and forecasting of the Group's credit portfolios.

The role:
You'll perform a critical role in creation of monthly Impairment reporting and provide insightful, high quality analysis which explains monthly movements of IFRS9 Expected credit loss models – tracking and explaining to colleagues and management.
While executing control, you'd use tools such as SAS and Excel to manipulate and interrogate complex data, and deliver improved efficiency and reporting capabilities across the team and wider function.
You'd ensure that regulatory data requests in the team are completed accurately, and adhere to specific Group and regulatory policy, processes and procedures.

Skills:
Highly organised and motivated individual who is passionate about data insights and can explain complex issues in simple terms.
Highly analytical, demonstrating this with a degree in a numerate subject or with previous relevant experience. It would be desirable for you to have some experience of credit risk issues, economic principles, forecasting and statistical methods.
Able to work at a fast pace and have an eye for detail and accuracy.
Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience of SAS
