IFA Administrator Job in Wolverhampton, West Midlands (County)

Job Description
My Wolverhampton based Financial Services client are looking for an IFA Administrator to join their team on a full time and permanent basis due to growth. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to Financial Advisers and provide a high level of customer service to both internal & external clients.

Duties will include: –

* Obtain illustrations, key features and application forms from Platforms & Providers as required.

* Compile client meeting packs to include valuations, client agreement, fact find, risk questionnaire and profile for the Adviser to use at client meetings.

* Obtain signed letters of authority from clients and submit to providers to obtain existing product / policy details.

* Maintain and update clients’ details at all times

* Prepare and process new business applications

* Deal with and respond to general enquiries for IFAs, colleagues, clients and providers.

* Provide clients with timely and accurate information where required.

* Maintaining relationships and contacts with providers to ensure a professional service

* Liaise with finance department in relation to commission / fee enquiries.

* Produce accurate valuation schedules

* To arrange for amendments to encashment and withdrawal requests from existing client plans authorised by the Financial Adviser & update systems

* Ensure that Advisers and the Operations Manager are informed of any client related events and issues in a timely manner.

* Report any compliance issues or suspected compliance breaches to the Compliance Manager.

Key Skills: –

* Ideally have worked within Financial Services previously

* Computer literate in MS Office and other applications. Knowledge of Intelligent Office & Platform Providers would be advantageous

* To act with integrity, due care, skill & diligence at all times whilst adhering to FCA / PRA & other regulators regulations.

* Treat customers fairly.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Organised and highly motivated with good attention to detail

* Willingness to study towards professional qualifications (desirable but not essential)
