Job Description
Robert Walters are excited to be representing a highly reputable technology organisation in Cheshire on a permanent, hybrid basis. We are looking for a Head of Management Accounting to manage a team of 6 Management Accountants. In this role you will be home based, however, there is a of flexibility around working in the office.

Duties to include but not restricted to:

Responsible to produce the Group Management Accounts in accordance with strict timelines
Leadership of a Team of 6. Leadership duties will include inspiring, guiding, motivating, and focusing your Team
Improving the efficiency of the management accounting processes
Business Partnering multiple stakeholders, including Board Members
Improving the Finance BI reporting to improve business decision making
Monthly balance sheet reviews
Acquisition integration accounting as required
Managing the provision of audit information to and from Management Accounts Team
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller

Skills & Qualities you will need to demonstrate:

Pro-active, highly motivated individual who is committed to accuracy and strives for success
Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
Strong system knowledge and experience of implementing process improvements
Good technical accounting knowledge
Excellent Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel
Thorough approach and high attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and ability to present financial information clearly
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
