Job Description
This well-established global IT Software Platform based near Peterborough is actively seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to join their established and inspirational team.
Working within this fantastic employee-focused organisation your varied role will include:
Analysing and reporting on financial performance
Preparing month-end consolidated reports for the group, including profit and loss, balance sheets, cash and budget updates for the board and shareholders
Develop financial procedures, planning and strategy for the group.
Preparation of draft consolidated annual accounts and returns, working with group offices globally and external accountants to ensure a timely process.
Oversight of group audit and tax functions.
oversight of group payroll systems and functions
Timely preparation of group forecasts and budgets.
Managing cashflows and working capital.The successful Group Financial Controller will have:
At least five years' experience in a senior financial management role ideally (but not essentially) in the technology sector
A UK degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of UK Tax Law
Strong skills in Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel
Good general IT skills
