SF Recruitment are working with an exciting Service business based in Central Birmingham, for the recruitment of an ambitious Group Financial Accountant.
This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and really add value to the role and therefore the wider company. The Business is looking for a forward thinking, ambitious and highly motivated individual to join the Finance team and support the UK Group Financial Controller to drive the business forward.
Working closely with the Group FC, duties of the role will include:
Design, develop and implement appropriate financial control processes to ensure the accurate reporting of the Group’s financial performance and position.
Ensure all finance processes and controls are documented correctly.
Draft and publish technical accounting policies that can be easily understood and adhered to by the business.
Support the month end process by performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and input into the preparation of the monthly Group balance sheet, cash flow statement and income statement.
Prepare reconciliations and schedules for the audit of the consolidated and subsidiary financial statements.
Ensure all audit queries are answered in an accurate and efficient manner.
Support on the implementation of the Group’s international acquisitions
To be considered for this role you will have an entrepreneurial nature and will have demonstrated clear value add activities in the companies you've worked at previously.
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA,), ideally from an audit background and seeking opportunity in a fast paced, dynamic, profitable business where you will really be able to grow and develop the role as this division grows.
