The Fraud & Financial Crime team have an exciting opportunity for a Fraud Data Analyst to join their analytical team.
As Fraud Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, individual with a passion for data and an interest in fighting fraud and financial crime to learn and develop in this rapidly growing and evolving organisation.
You will proactively and collaboratively develop analysis, supporting the senior analytical team in a variety of prevention & detection areas.
Compiling reports to help deliver strategy changes & also supporting senior management decision making.
Applying analytical and technical ability to support the operational fraud team deliver the right customer/consumer outcomes.
Aid the continuous optimising of our fraud control performance using a combination of rules and machine learning to continuously improve the Firm’s defences.
Identifying patterns and implementing suitable solutions to prevent them.
What you will need to succeed as Fraud Data Analyst:
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office product suite, particularly Excel i.e., Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
Knowledge of one or both: SQL, Python (with the ability to run and amend queries)
Clear, logical analytical approach to problem-solving.
Ability to investigate, find trends, forecast performance, and provide insightful recommendations.
Sound data visualisation skills
Able to communicate effectively; using data to tell a story and drive business change
