Job Description
My client, the only Tier One investment bank in the North West, are looking to hire an FP&A Analyst to join their ever-growing finance campus in Chester.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, with a focus across EMEA, the FP&A Analyst will enjoy a varied and challenging position, with huge scope for progression. The role will involve performance analysis, strategy and planning, competitor analysis, as well as various other ad hoc tasks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally-renowned business, in a broad and progressive commercial finance role.

Key responsibilities include:

Ad-hoc analysis, presentations and briefings for senior management for internal and external audiences
Regional and legal entity performance analysis and insight for executives and key regulators
Country performance analysis for senior management and country leadership teams
Presentations for external parties on regional and key legal entity performance and associated briefing materials
Support for major cross-line of business projects and initiatives within the region and legal entity
Support for Country Strategic Reviews, working with local offices to produce plans for senior management
Competitor performance analysis including bench-marking
Consolidated analysis of peer group performance, including strategic insights for senior leadership to drive priorities
Monitor news flow / market developments / analyst reports to provide updates and insights to senior management
Gain a broad knowledge of the product suite and solid understanding of revenue and expense drivers
Become a go-to resource for impactful analysis and insight into performance and financial plans
Spearheading strategic projects, efficiency improvements, MI enhancements and ad-hoc requests for senior management and the wider finance team
Generate proactive analysis and insight to drive strategic discussion and priorities with senior management The ideal candidate will be:

Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CFA)
High degree of numerical and analytical ability
Versatile, proactive and self -motivated, with ability to work across differing business lines
Strong Excel Skills
