Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and market leading business that's demonstrated impressive growth in recent years, is looking to source a top calibre Financial Reporting Manager on an initial 12 month FTC.

This would be a great opportunity to step into this highly sought after business, where future reward and security could be on offer for those candidates who prove to be a valued addition to the team.

Main duties include:
* Working with the SFM to lead the activities relevant to the Year End processes on behalf of Accounting, setting up the team for success, close collaboration with the External Reporting team, ensuring any interim audit requests are quickly dealt with
* Assisting with the Month end process
* Improving the monthly reporting cadence
* Providing completed external reporting (including Stat Accounts, Disclosures, regulatory reporting) to other Finance Teams such as External Reporting
* Production of the Group Management Accounts and flash P&L
* Ensuring the wider accounting team adheres to group accounting policy and IFRS, converting from local accounting practices (e.g. US GAAP) where appropriate substantiating account/general ledger balances and providing first level commentary

Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and understanding of relevant regulatory environments
* Strong attention to detail
* Highly self-motivated and strives to continually improve ways of working
* Confident, credible communicator – can build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders and also translate highly technical information to those not as savvy
* Positive and proactive approach to problem solving
