Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant
Salary £50,000 to £55,000
Based in Leatherhead, Surrey
Permanent, Full-time role
Hybrid working (3 days in the office/2 days from home)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global fast expanding Chartered Accountants as a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant. This role is a brand-new position created due to business growth.
This is an exciting role for someone with experience or exposure to a commercially focused/FP&A focused/management accountant role, with knowledge around a budgeting & forecasting cycle. This position offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to have a significant impact upon the commercial success of the organisation.
Financial and business strategy:
Support the Director of Finance and Head of Finance in communicating financial strategy issues and recommended changes to the Partners.
Support and contribute to the production of the annual budget and financial strategy.
Monitor adherence to the outcomes set out in the budget – recommending improvements to the plan.
Provide the Partners with relevant and timely information to enable it to assess performance against the Firm's strategy and objectives.
Develop financial KPIs which will be used to assess the success of both the business and the financial strategy.
Analyse competitor and market financial information to provide insight to assist with decision making. Business performing reporting:
Develop and refine regular financial reporting to give an overview of business and financial performance.
Track performance against key targets and outcomes and produce regular management information for Partners.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders – business partnering.
Forecasting, cash flow analysis & working capital projections
Project manage end-to-end delivery of financial forecasting processes, including communications, timetables, and data requirements.
Use the output of financial models and analysis of trends to drive decision making and communicate relevant messages across the business.
Produce professional reports and presentations summarising the forecasts for Partners
