Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to join a thriving SME online and retail business following a retirement. Managing a small team, you will work closely with the Directors of the business to add commercial financial insight to decision making as a financial business partner as well as ensuring all of the necessary integrity and controls of end to end accounting processes for all aspects of the monthly and annual accounts.

The principle areas of responsibility are:

Monthly reporting of the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow for 2 companies
Producing management information on sales and profitability
Regular management and cash-flow reporting
Supervising two staff covering Accounts Payable and Credit Control
Budgeting and forecasting
VAT returns
Payroll, Pension and HR
Liaising with external accountants regarding statutory reporting and corporation tax
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience of working within an SME environment. You will have a collaborative and hands-on attitude with outstanding communication skills. You will have excellent IT skills, with a strong preference for exposure to Netsuite and very strong Excel. As with any SME business you will also be involved other areas such as insurances, utility contracts and other administrative tasks to assist in the daily running of the business. The role will accommodate hybrid working
