Job Description
An opportunity has become available for a Financial Controller within a privately owned 50 million turnover construction company based in the Milton Keynes. In this role you will be managing a team of 4 finance staff and report into the Managing Director of the business. We are looking for a senior finance professional who has extensive experience within the construction industry. This role offers progression into a Finance Director role.
Duties:
* Working as a member of the Senior Management and Leadership team to actively enhance performance and margin.
* Presentation of the monthly management accounts and CVRCVR reporting to the senior management team
* Work closely with business leads to prepare accurate detailed cost and CVRCVR reporting
* CashflowCashflow forecasting, reporting, and credit control
* Agreeing and maintaining budgets and reporting against actualsactuals with variation analysis
* Quarterly VAT returns
* CISCIS verificationsverifications and returns
* Payroll reporting as part of construction project analysis PAYEPAYE and pension file upload E
* Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance (computations, review, submission)
Skills and Experience Required:
* To be qualified with ACCAACCA/CIMACIMA/ACAACA and have 3+ years PQEPQE or QBE
QBE* Experience in a S SMEbusiness highly desirable
* Construction industry experience is essential
