Robert Walters are recruiting a Financial Controller role for an SME business based in Hertfordshire who require a German speaking Financial Controller ideally with some German Accounting experience.
The role will be responsible for the German business and managing a team.

The role will be responsible for the German business and managing a team.
The Role:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the German entity and will be responsible for managing a team producing:
-Producing the monthly management accounts and variance analysis
-Production of the management reporting pack
-Managing the balance sheet
-P&L analysis
-Managing controls
-The German statutory accounting under local GAAP
-Assisting with the internal and external audit
-German tax returns
-Improving processes and procedures
-Adhereing to local and company standards and compliance.
Profile:
We are looking for a German speaking Financial Controller who ideally has some German accounting experience of local GAAP etc who has managed a team and who can manage all aspects of the German entity.
