Axon Moore are proudly partnering with an extremely successful, exciting business – located near Preston – in their search for an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their rapidly-growing team. This role will be well suited to a Financial Accountant who demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic approach to work. Ideally, candidates will be AAT qualified or studying towards their ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with previous finance experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Preparation of the monthly management accounts, including all balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings and P&L variance analysis.
Assisting in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts.
Prepare information for the annual statutory audit and liaise with auditors throughout the interim and full year audits.
Support with both the purchase and sales ledgers.
Provide assistance to the Group Finance team on project and ad hoc work.
Required Skills and Experience:

Preferably AAT / degree qualified and be studying towards a CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualification.
Previous experience within a similar role.
Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills.
Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with different teams across the group.
Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
An ability to think methodically and logically with a strong desire to continue learning and developing.
Able to work efficiently towards meeting targets and deadlines.
