Job Description
Do you have prior experience with financial accounting? Technically competent in accounting to IFRS standards (CAPEX/OPEX INCLUDED)? With a background in month end close which includes preparing balance sheet and income statement reconciliations? Working for a leading luxury retail brand?

As a result of growth across the financial reporting team; we are currently working in partnership with a leader in the telecommunications industry who are on the search for a part-qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) Financial Accountant to join their impressive finance function in Central London.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the position of Intercompany Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of various accounting month end tasks. This includes preparing balance sheet reconciliations, income statement reconciliations in addition to preparing operational expenses variance analysis for multiple business units.

Further responsibilities include:

Preparing reconciliations for all intercompany accounts across the group and investigating differences as required utilising SAP reports

Working closely with Tax and Treasury to ensure transnational / transfer pricing are invoiced and settled

Producing monthly P&L variance analysis

Prepare other ad hoc intercompany reporting, performance and process KPI as required

Ideal candidates will be part-qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) or equivalent, with relevant experience working within a role/team that's had significant exposure witihn retail (ideally). Strong analytical skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem solving and managing multiple projects is essential. SAP experience (required) along with an appreciation for best practice financial accounting standards, policies, processes and systems.
