Job Description
I am recruiting an interim Finance Operations Manager for a 6 month contract for one of my key not for profit clients based in Central London.

I am specifically looking for a focussed, experienced and motivated individual with very good communication skills who can manage the financial processing team.

Supporting the Head of Financial Accounting and Governance to provide accurate, timely information and proactive advice on financial accounting matters across the organisation is part of this role, but the crux of it focuses on continuous improvement of processes, streamlining and automating activities, whilst up , managing and motivating the individuals responsible for delivering this.

Day to day you will be undertaking and be responsible for the following:

Management of the financial transaction processing and reconciliations within the organisation, ensuring that robust controls are in place
Line manage the team , ensuring they are supported, motivated and able to deliver high-quality work
Ensuring all income and invoices are processed within agreed time scales and any issues are dealt with in a timely manner, liaising with external and internal contacts as needed
Reconciling all bank accounts
Managing user set up and administration on the finance system
Ensuring credit card expenses are posted in a timely manner, dealing with user administration
Understanding and explaining finance processes to the wider organisation, providing feedback and suggestions for efficiencies and improvements
Being 'hands-on' when needed to pick up tasks from team members to ensure processing stays on schedule.

Knowledge of Access Dimensions accounting software would be a big bonus, but is not critical – my client is also open to applicants from any sector, not just the not for profit arena.

Hybrid working arrangements will see you come into the office twice a month and undertake the rest from home.
