Job Description
Our client is seeking a stand alone Finance Manager for one of the key business in the group.

Working for MD , this is a standalone role working on all areas of finance, working with external auditors, operations and key stakeholders.

Covering all aspects of Finance from transactional accounting to audit compliance.

Invoicing: including creating and issuing accurate and approved invoices to clients
Managing invoices as part of the invoicing schedule 
Credit Control, tracking and chasing up overdue invoices to ensure timely payment and help financial management
Payments and Purchasing, manage payments, across the whole organisation
Refinement and enforcement of PO system for office purchases and for supplier; management of petty cash system
Management of day-to-day banking and reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
Creating weekly aged payables reports for the MD 
Creation of supplier and payroll payments for authorisation by the MD
Reporting :Producing monthly finance reports to help management team make informed decisions about running the business and supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT Returns
Liaison with our external accountants in the UK to contribute to the preparation of quarterly management accounts
Liaison with our external accountants in relation to the financial affairs and reporting requirements, provision of required supporting documentation
Background and experience

Strong IT skills, ideally with a working knowledge of an accountancy software
Fully Conversant with Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
Financial Qualifications or high-level experience
Commercially aware
Organised with high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and recall.
Ability to work to external and internal deadlines
Meticulous planning and writing skills.
Articulate, good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Creative, lateral thinker.
Familiarity with legislative and regulatory issues such as data protection (GDPR compliance)
