Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager (with 2 direct reports) to work with a progressive organisation who are performing very well in their industry sector.

Description
Post monthly salary journals, as specified on monthly allocation by relevant percentage to the correct project.
Review monthly bank reconciliations and credit card spend
Reconcile control accounts and calculate journals for accruals and prepayments
Ensure payroll is run within deadlines required and payment is processed by the last working day of the month
Prepare and review estimated Profit and Loss for the year and quarterly.
Maintain Dividend schedules for the shareholders.
Prepare dividend vouchers on behalf of the shareholders.
Prepare year-end accounts ready for issuing to the external accountants at least 2 months after year end.
Administrate and manage mileage claims for payment and posting.
Assist the Financial Controller with year-end audit for all group companies.
Maintain cash-flow actual and forecast for the group.
Ensure all invoices are raised in a timely manner and that credit control is undertaken with support from the Commercial team.
Manage banking administration for all accounts and credit cards.
Ensures compliance with all Group commercial policies
Form a strong and productive working partnership with the Commercial function
On-boarding for new starters and oversight of training on the Accounting System
Analyse expenditure for each project monthly and communicate findings to the Financial Controller.
Ensure Disbursements are maintained accurately and charged to the client monthly, in advance when required.
Act as a champion for part of the Group's Strategy
Supports the Group in delivering initiatives within the local community to support the Group's corporate social responsibility strategyProfile
A natural tendency to pay close attention to detail with problem solving ability.
Capable of dealing with various accountancy issues and able to work under pressure.
Proven ability to work to and perform to tight deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Excel knowledge and skills
Keen to learn and develop and is not shy of challenges.
AAT Qualified or ACCA Part Qualified /QBE
