Job Description
RM Recruit is working with a fantastic charity located on the outskirts of Birmingham who are on the lookout for an Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Our client welcomes both Full Time and Part Time (3-4 days per week) applicants where hybrid working is also on offer.

Main duties include:

* Reporting timely and accurate management accounts to the CFO

* Provide commentary to SLT

* Manage a small team

* Liaise with auditors to support year end statutory accounting

* Confidently liaise with operations and non finance stakeholders

* Business partner and work collaboratively with the wider departments

* Preparing annual budget and monthly forecasting

* Annual forecasting

* Provide sound advice and recommendations on improvement and driving change

* Financial analysis including scenario planning

* Recommend system improvement

* Make recommendations for improving current reporting structure

As the ideal candidate, you will be qualified, ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA, however candidates who are part qualified and those who are qualified by experience will be considered. You will possess demonstrable Finance Managerial experience and you will be an excellent communicator who possesses strong excel together with systems knowledge. Ideally you will possess experience in the Charity or Housing sector, however candidates from outside of the sector will be considered.
