Job Description
A Private Equity backed SME travel company (10 million turnover) is looking for a Finance Manager (SME Background essential) help grow the business towards a sale in 5+ years time. This is a very stable group of companies that sees the current climate as opportunity for acquisitive activity.
Working with an entrepreneurial Managing Director this is a hands-on number one finance role that would cover all areas of accounts.
The role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office 3 at home)
Your duties will include –
Produce management accounts.
Budgets and forecasts.
Cash flow modelling.
Financial analysis.
Statutory accounting.
VAT
Preparation of Board packs.
Management of small team.
Supervision of transactional accounting and payroll.
Ad-hoc project work partnering with the MD. Including support for M&A projects.
About You
You will be a qualified accountant with SME experience in a similar hands-on role. Experience with Quickbooks or Sage would also be advantageous as well as any experience / understanding of the travel industry.
