Job Description
Title: Finance co-ordinator
Overview: Finance co-ordinator who is responsible for ensuring all financial accounts are kept up-to-date and resolving any financial related matters for an automotive department.
Key areas of responsibility:
– Ensuring all accounts are invoiced out on time to customers
– Preparing any supplementary documentation
– Sending invoices out as per individual customer requirements (email, EDI, post, customer portal)
– Responding to any payment queries
– Resolving payment disputes
– Aged debt management
– Regular system/data reporting
– Support with end of month reporting for the department
– Support with insurance claims
Skills:
The ideal candidate will be educated in Maths and English (oral and written) to GCSE, Standard Grade or equivalent; grade A-C.
Must be able to demonstrate highly competent computer skills in all areas of Microsoft office.
Previous experience working within finance would be an advantage.
Additionally, you must have:

* The ability to work to deadlines and manage own workload
* The ability to work under pressure
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent Excel knowledge required
* Strong math skills essential
* Previous reporting experience ideal
* An eye for detail and precision
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30

22 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays, increase annually up to 26 days after 5 years’ service
