Finance Business Partner

Location: Northampton

Salary – £36,341.00 – £40,949.00 per annum

Hours – 37.5 hours per week

TeacherActive is proud to present the role of Finance Business Partner in the Northampton area. The successful candidate will possess a proactive attitude with the ability to work within a finance team. The roles and responsibilities are listed briefly below:

Budget monitoring and forecasting of the College (and its subsidiaries) income, expenditure, pay costs and capital budgets
Producing accurate monthly management accounts for the use of budget holders, the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders as required
Providing timely variance analysis and key performance information for the use of budget holders, the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders as required
Carrying out and documenting monthly budget review meetings with budget holders and producing action points
To work with the Apprenticeships team and Director of Finance to support and contribute to the tracking of apprenticeships funding and claims to ensure the College is accessing all appropriate funding in a timely manner.
Providing budgetary assistance to the College’s commercial managers.
Working with budget holders and other stakeholders to review propose and gain approvals for annual budgets ensuring budgets are realistic and achievable.
Ensuring approved budgets are accurately recorded on the finance system
Ensuring that the College’s Financial Regulations and Procedures are adhered to
Assisting year end close down processes, production of year end group accounts and timely production of working paper for external audit purposes
Qualifications needed:

QBE/Part Qualified CCAB/Qualified AAT X
Minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
