Job Description
Interim FP&A Manager, Gloucester, 3-6 months, £(Apply online only) per day

Commercially-focused role for a Qualified Accountant, leading the financial planning and analysis function for a market leading Gloucester business. The vacancy comes at a hugely exciting time as the company has raised additional investment recently and is looking to diversify its services alongside its core markets.

Supporting the senior leadership team, some of your key responsibilities will include:

Preparation of forecasts, strategic plans and various modelling including variance analysis and KPI reporting
Production of the Group budget, taking in to consideration all costs and revenues
Weekly and monthly cash flow reporting and suggesting ways of tightening cash control
Supporting departments in the provision of financial analysis, insight and business drivers
Implementing hedging strategies and proposing solutions to minimise FX exposure
Managing working capital by working closely with likes of Sales and Supply Chain
Providing analysis to support commercial activity such as investments, acquisitions and one-off projects
Developing, and improvement of, procedures for planning, forecasting and budgeting
Involvement in the preparation of Board and investor presentations
Various month-end responsibilities as required

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and an experienced FP&A Manager or financial business partner. You will possess good commercial acumen, be astute and have gained a deep understanding of what the key drivers have been in your current and past employers.

You'll have the ability to explain technical financial information to a variety of people at a variety of levels and have a great eye for detail. And whilst the role does not focus on month and year-end duties, it would be advantageous to have a grounding in the more technical aspects of accounting.
