Finance Assistant Job in West Bromwich, Sandwell
Job Description
RM Recruit are supporting an established and growing not-for-profit organisation to recruit a newly defined Finance Assistant for their expanding team. This role will see you provide an end-to-end finance service. With outgoing nature, and with excellent attention to detail, this post would see you operate in a busy, finance setting.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Raising invoices
* Monitoring income expenditure
* Posting of receipts onto SAGE 200
* Issuing petty cash and reconciling the balance
* Manage the client database
* Assist with general internal & external finance queries
* Set up bank payments
* Processing weekly BACS runs
* Monitoring the accounts’ team’s email inbox
* Aged debt/creditor reports/supplier statement reconciliations
This newly created post will have a 12-month duration on a full-time basis. Experience within the charity sector would be highly advantageous but candidates from the wider not-for-profit and private sectors are encouraged to apply. Knowledge and experience of SAGE 200 will be advantageous, however not essential. Whatever your background, you will be confident of operating in busy environments.
