£24,078 per annum

Permanent opportunity in Wrexham

The Role

We are supporting a manufacturing company recruit a Finance Assistant who will join an established and friendly finance department. The role will involve assisting the team across the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Costing. You will be joining a fantastic organisation who value their employees providing a friendly working environment.

Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

• Reconciling sales ledger.

• Preparing reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and prepayments.

• Data entry and data maintenance on SAP.

• Assisting with month end account closing duties.

• Daily day to day finance queries.

• Assisting with half yearly company stock checks.

• Providing cover for the Accounts Payable Clerk – preparing payment runs, processing purchase invoices, reconciling vendor statements and filing.

Candidate requirements:

The successfully appointed Finance Assistant will have the following skills and abilities:

* Background working in a Finance or accounts assistant role

* Effective communication and organisation skills

* Experience using SAP or other accounting software would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided

* Strong Microsoft Excel skills would be beneficial but full training will be provided
