Job Description
We're recruiting for a Finance Director to take up a role within a charity that provides care services in the community for vulnerable people. As the Finance Director you'll be responsible for the strategic and operational financial planning, monitoring, and reporting to enhance the decision-making process of the Senior management team. On offer for the Finance Director is a salary of up to £50K.

The Finance Director Role:
As a senior leader in the organisation, the Finance Manager will be a key player in creating the culture that is required and maintaining the Company's healthy financial and administrative wellbeing. You'll manage two other members of the finance team plus outsourced contacts for HR.
Your areas of responsibility include:
Financial accounting and reporting
Management reporting, 3-year planning, budgeting / forecasting, ad hoc analysis
Financial systems, procedures & internal controls
HR & payroll functions
Taxation
Risk management
Legal compliance

The Successful Finance Director will have:
Experience in a similar role
AAT qualification, including relevant post qualification experience
Proficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and audit
Management accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting
Proven ability for implementing and monitoring financial controls
Experience of payroll management
Staff management experience
Knowledge of legal and personnel issues
High degree of IT literacy
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong influencing and leadership skills
Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
A strategic outlook with the ability to drive change where necessary
