Job Description
A Finance and DiOperations Director with CIMA or ACCA qualifications is required by Charitable client near Leeds, West Yorkshire. A salary of up to £57k basic is available dependent upon experience.

This is a role that is office based with flexible working hours.  

You will be part of the Senior Leadership team supporting the CEO of a children’s Charity and you will ideally have a background in the Charitable sector. The role of the Head of Finance is to lead the finance team, managing all accounting and finance activities and ensuring ongoing financial viability. You will also manage key administrative functions within the charity, including risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, and HR Matters.

The Finance & Operations Director will manage the financial accounts and financial controls and also provide monthly reports to the trustees. You will keep the charity’s financial procedures up to date and safeguard the charity’s financial assets, working with the charity’s auditors and CEO to produce annual statutory accounts.

The Finance Director role will manage cashflow and banking and produce an annual budget and quarterly forecasts. You will also manage the charity’s investment and contribute to the direction and strategic management of the orgsanisation.

Required skills:

– Solid accounting and CIMA or ACVCA qualifications

–  Financial staff management

– Policies and procedures management

– HR management

– Experience of HMRC and Pensions

– Payroll management

– CRM and Sage knowhow

Required skills:

– Competent with SQL and relational databases with a good knowledge of Web Services

– Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel

– Proven business analysis and software implementation skills

– Experience working for either a vendor or a field service organisation.

– Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills

– Strong client facing experience and communications skills

Experience working in sectors that offer field service management for either scheduling, dispatch or mobile related solutions (Mobile Workforce Management) is a plus, but is not essential.

Salary:

Basic salary range from £50k basic to £58k basic plus pension and healthcare and 25 days and flexible working hours.
