Leicester (Hybrid working)
£30,000 – £40,000 per annum

The Finance & Accountancy division at SF Recruitment are currently looking for a Finance Analyst to join our market leading client based in Leicester. You will be working with Finance Business owners to understand business requirements and to convert those requirements into good scalable technical designs/solutions.

Key responsibilities:

– Work with Project Managers to help develop project plans for BI team initiatives, track progress against those plans, develop status reports, and communicate project status with stakeholders.
– Lead select Finance Business Intelligence initiatives.
– Develop new insights while automate or transition old production reports to other team members.
– Ensure the technical accuracy, quality and adherence to, and championing of, effective software engineering processes with internal and external providers.
– Provide design and administration leadership in Business Intelligence (ownership of a process, that is being rolled out)
– Assist in the training of new members to the team providing support and mentorship as needed.
– Identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and methodology. Producing reports that will help Finance to standardize and automate their processes.
– Work independently and effectively under tight time constraints and deliver accurate results.
– Introduce tools, business processes and procedures to increase organizational efficiencies.
– Assess, recommend, and help implement enhancements to the Business Intelligence technical architecture to keep pace with changing business demands, scale and new software releases.
– Ensure data integrity across all performance-based metrics, tracking and reporting.
– Experienced with SQL and Advanced Excel is Beneficial.
– Working with Business intelligence tools. Power BI knowledge would be beneficial.
– Works with Data Engineering team to ensure the data sets are accurate for end user reporting building.

Skills & Experience:

– Part Qualified/Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
– Previous experience in a similar role
– Sound knowledge of Microsoft excel
– Ability to work to strict deadlines
